We know that you all are taking time out of your busy lives to celebrate with us and we are so grateful! Below you can find information on where to stay, transportation, and visiting Portland.

Where to Stay

We recommend staying on the East side (NE or SE) of Portland, as this is where all wedding events will be held. Addresses of events are listed on the "Information" tab of the website if you would like to find lodging near these areas. Some neighborhoods we love are: Tabor, Hollywood, Roseway, Laurelhurst, Belmont, Hawthorne, and Sunnyside. Please let us know if you would like additional help finding a place!

Transportation

We will be providing transportation from the ceremony to the reception. However, we won't be providing it to the ceremony, home from the reception, etc. Portland has many options for getting around! If you don't want to rent a car, ride shares, TriMet and the MAX (public transportation), and walking are all great options in the city.

If you do rent a car, beware that Portland streets are small and can be difficult to navigate. Most parking is also parallel street parking, so have your defensive driver skills ready!

Entertainment & Exploring

If you're staying for a few days, Portland has tons of things to do! Here are a few of our suggestions:

Go on a hike in Forest Park, one of the largest urban forests in the US
Visit one of the many wineries in the Willamette River Valley
Go to the pumpkin patch and Fall festival on Sauvies Island
See an old movie at Hollywood Theatre
Go to Quarterworld for drinks and arcade games
